At least, as you say, it's the minority view.Jessinoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1197059819176148237.post-87318062699397352972010-03-16T08:24:32.250-04:002010-03-16T08:24:32.250-04:00lol, I just sat down to nurse my 3 1/2 year old an...lol, I just sat down to nurse my 3 1/2 year old and catch up on the blog world. However, suddenly at one year old, it somehow became "disgusting" to some people. It hasn't stopped me, but I am much more shy about when/where I breastfeed now. What a shame.cgbnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1197059819176148237.post-23271238730109951552010-03-14T21:14:09.555-04:002010-03-14T21:14:09.555-04:00My first baby is due for the end of October. I really am nervous and can see that I might be squeemish for a bit but I KNOW how important and healthy the whole thing will be. I'm planning on doing everything in my power to make breastfeeding work. My in-laws, I know, will try to be supportive of everything I do (although they are REALLY having a hard time with the cloth diaper concept). My sister-in-law is the only close one who has a baby and she feels the whole thing is disgusting. I have such a hard time not arguing with her about how important it is. I know it won't help so I don't but I feel like I'll be breaking new ground *breastfeeding!!* around the family. Nervous, yes. But also excited for the whole future.nicolenoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1197059819176148237.post-45342631118538141902010-03-14T09:02:11.466-04:002010-03-14T09:02:11.466-04:00That woman is probably lucky that you were at the ...That woman is probably lucky that you were at the store in an official capacity.
